Dear Associates:

The Brazilian Association of Incentive to Quality – ABIQUA originated in a 100%l Brazilian Project which hás reached great proportions today, motivated by the institutional relationship among many Latin American countries.

With 14 years of history of QUALITY motivation, the South American Quality Prize and Ibero-American Quality Prize have become symbols of what the laureate company can do such as ISO quality processes, motivating its collaborators with a total quality program and staff incentive to reach continued certification.

When the Business Round was included in the Prize Event we moved a step forward to reaching our goal that now goes beyond motivation of quality to include business opportunity for associates and integration of companies, enabling more commercial relationship among companies and institutions.
As highlighted by Kaufmann: the entrepeneur capacity lies in the capacity to create even when exposed to risks in an intelligent fashion, adjusting quickly to changes in practices and environments in an efficient way.

So as to enlarge the scientific knowledge necessary for an entrepreneur vision we have integrated Universities in the program of Prize Event. With the academic standard of research and technology we have excelled another step in the South American Quality Prize and Ibero-American Quality Prize. We also included the Panamerican Quality Prize for the 2008 Event which will encompass all the American Continent.
The participation of Universities will be in a contest format so as to motivate professors and students to exercise scientific research focused on quality. This is a way of awarding academic works of relevance to contribute with the development of entrepreneurs, collaborators and their respective products and services.

ABIQUA has also organized a Commerical Management Net, through the Associate´s Portal with the aim of expanding commercial relations throughout Latin America. It will have more than 5000 companies motivation commercial integration among their associates and providing a great information exchange net for products and services.

It is important to highlight that ABIQUA plays the role of recognizing and suggesting businesses and, in that context, also opportunities and were added. Thus, instead of looking for a logic answer to the question “Why do I receive this Prize?” one should make see this as the top of its entrepreneur decision making, proposing: “I WANT TO TRANSFORM AND QUALIFY MY COMPANY”.

ABIQUA´s action plan for 2008 is to take the Prize Event to other regions, enabling more integration among countries, companies and people. We also want to invite more institutions to become associate to ABIQUA, transmitting a commercial vision of the future with added knowledge to reach success with quality in all America.

Under my coordination ABIQUA´s staff aims at attaining the best in terms of quality of services rendered and we would like to thank the associates who always believed in us and recognized our work. We also thank suppliers and friends who contributed, one way or another, to make our goals come true. With everyone´s effort we are compensated by results achieved. Thanks to all.
